Information for Retailers
You can find a link to the "Retailers Pack for 2022" below outlining how the scheme works and what the vouchers look like.
If you do not currently accept QUIDs at your outlet, you may at any time. Please advise us so we can update our list of outlets and provide point-of-sale material to you.
Please make sure your staff are familiar with characteristics of the vouchers and are happy to accept them.Please note the following;
QUIDS may be presented in €5, €10, €20, €50 or €100 values, Please see the attached document for further details.
QUIDs are valid for 5 years from date of issue. Each QUID is stamped with an issue date.
In addition outlets should note the full value of a voucher does not have to be spent in a single transaction. The outlet must decide whether to give the balance due to the customer as cash change, a card refund or in a voucher of some other form.
An outlet can exchange any amount of QUIDS they have received in their business for a cheque to their business by presenting at the Tullamore Credit Union. It may be useful to have ID to avoid delays.
