Chamber Job Fair Attracts Over 400 Attendees

The Chamber is delighted to announce the success of yesterday’s Job Fair, which welcomed more than 400 attendees and featured 30 exhibitors from a diverse range of sectors.

The event brought together employers, job seekers, training providers, and support organisations, creating a valuable opportunity for individuals to explore employment opportunities, gain career advice, and connect directly with businesses and organisations actively recruiting.

The Chamber was proud to deliver the event in partnership with Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB), Offaly Local Enterprise Office, and Offaly Local Development Company (OLDC). Their collaboration and support played a key role in ensuring the success of the day.

Throughout the event, the 30 exhibitors engaged with over 400 attendees, sharing information on current vacancies, training opportunities, career pathways, and supports available to those seeking employment or considering a career change.

The strong turnout and positive feedback received demonstrate the continued demand for events that connect local talent with local opportunities while supporting business growth and workforce development.

The Chamber would like to thank all exhibitors, attendees, partners, sponsors, and volunteers for their contribution to a highly successful event. We look forward to continuing to work together to support employment, skills development, and economic growth throughout the region.
