Businesses working together to bring vibrant colour to Tullamore streets

Tullamore Chamber Retail Committee

Tullamore Chamber Retail Committee is looking at a number of ways to make Tullamore Town Centre as visually attractive as possible to our visitors, shoppers and tourists.

One scheme we are looking at is a "Paint your Premises Program". This program would operate as follows:

An urban colour consultant will do a coordinated colour plan for all the premises prepared to take part. The consultant will work with owner colour preferences/corporate colours etc.

The consultant’s services will be free to the first thirty participants thanks to the generosity of Tullamore Credit Union.

Even if only the top half of each premises is painted it will have a major impact.

Those taking part can avail of a discount on exterior paint from all Tullamore paint retailers.

Tullamore Chamber will also provide a list of local painters if participants wish to avail of this.

This scheme has worked with great success in other towns across the country and if we have enough interest in Tullamore it can play a major role in making our town more visually appealing and therefore encourage people to visit and spend in Tullamore.
