Estimated 1,800 Hospitality Workers Temporarily Unemployed During Restrictions In Offaly

Tullamore chamber of commerce believe close to 1,800 hospitality workers have become temporarily unemployed due to localised restrictions in Offaly.

The majority of these jobs are in the tourism, hospitality and visitor services.

It's president Roger Guiney says reduced capacity in those areas going forward could cause significant cuts in the medium term.
