Tullamore Street Enhancement Plan

The Tullamore & District Chamber has arranged for a consultation with the County Council in the Tullamore Municipal Offices ( Town Hall ) on Thursday 27th August, between 5pm – 7pm.
The principal areas affected are High Street,O’Connor Square, Columcille Street and Patrick Street.
Please DO attend as this is your opportunity to put your view forward.
Offaly County Council has developed a number of options for the enhancement of Columcille Street, O’Connor Square and High Street. Options include, undergrounding cables, new paving, lighting, street furniture, planting, new layout of public areas including wider footpaths and increasing pedestrian priority within O’Connor Square.
The Offaly County Council, working in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, aim the proposals will be a significant marker for the renewal of Tullamore Town Centre and ensure that the town centre reaches its potential as an attractive, safe and vibrant location for residents and visitors alike.
The Offaly County Council are now seeking the views of the community at large on these proposals.
