Official Turning On of the Christmas Lights in Tullamore Town Centre

Entertainment starts at 5pm with the Stage Stars Academy with boys and girls performing various routines live on stage.

Tullamore Town Band and Columcilles Pipe Band will lead out Santa from GAA grounds @ 5.30pm making his way to O’Connor Square.

The Strictly Goes Country group who put on a great night of entertainment and raised funds for the christmas Lights campaign will take to the stage at 5.30 followed by local band Ruggedwood.

Santa is due to arrive in O’Connor Square at 6pm followed by the lights been turned on by European Gold Medallist Ross O’Connor at 6.15pm.

Following a brief speech by Chairperson of Tullamore Chamber, Anne Starling and Chairperson of Offaly County Council, Sinead Dooley, Ruggedwood will play out proceedings.

The Christmas Lights campaign is managed by a team of volunteers and they are continuously striving to improve the lights display and extend its reach across the town.

The Tullamore Christmas Lights help create a festive atmosphere in Tullamore over the Christmas period and help draw visitors from around the Midlands and further afield.
